This is my first post/blog. Im going to give a quick introduction and explain what im trying to accomplish with this blog.

My name is Ronald T. Shields II, but you can call me DJ. I am a sophmore at The Savannah State University. My goal is to build a portfolio on my writings. In this blog I am going to focus mainly on the Atlanta Falcons and bring my own style. I'm really going to pick things up starting on September 11th when the team will travel to Soldier Field and battle the Chicago Bears. My blogs will cover every game televised down here in the city by the sea, and will be posted within 24 hours after the game clock reads 0:00 (allowing me to use player interviews taken after the game).

Every post will consist of a basic format, including recap of all the highlight and game impactful plays, an overview of the game, my opinion, and player of the game on offensive and defensive side of the ball, and a preview of the next game.

I might make a few practice runs (the last two preseason games) to get me ready for the regular season, and to apply tweaks and changes. This blog is ultimately for the fans, like myself, and I look forward to your insights, your comments, and your opinion on the game and my writings.
